Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role with a freelancer contract, based in Budapest, for a Medior SAP EWM Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions to optimize supply chain processes. The Medior SAP EWM Developer will evaluate business requirements, design technical solutions, configure and customize SAP systems, and perform system integrations. The role also includes troubleshooting, debugging, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

Strong experience in SAP ABAP with mandatory ABAP OO
Strong technical knowledge of SAP EWM (Inbound, Outbound, Internal processes)
Strong debugging skills in productive S/4HANA systems
Hands-on experience with RAP (Managed and Unmanaged BOs)
Development of OData V4 services for SAP Fiori
Design and implementation of CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption)
Experience with ERP <-> EWM integration (IDoc, qRFC, RFC)
Fluent English

Your role

Act as a technical expert in SAP EWM software development based on strong hands-on experience
Implement requirements defined by the customer or SAP EWM Customer Support Consultant
Develop, enhance, and modify existing solutions, including new implementations where required
Take ownership of quality, effort estimation, and budget for assigned development components
Contribute significantly to overall project success through reliable and efficient delivery
Analyze existing code quickly and understand system architecture and logic
Identify risks and potential side effects of changes and initiate appropriate mitigation measures (e.g. quality assurance activities)
Maintain a solid understanding of the customer's system landscape, warehouse setup, and business processes
Support Customer Support Project Team and Customer Support Support (Hotline) Team in solution design, troubleshooting, and implementation
Collaborate closely with consultants, developers, and testers to ensure aligned and coordinated delivery
Proactively identify opportunities for system and process improvements that can add value for the customer
Represent the company externally through strong technical expertise and professional communication

Your profile

At least 1 year of S/4HANA experience in an S/4HANA EWM environment
Experience in brownfield implementation projects
Bachelor's or Master's degree in an IT-related field
Business fluent English with confident communication abilities
